Summary The bully is about a boy named Darrell mercer who moves from Philadelphia to California he spends time with his friends at a steak House which will be there last encounter he Finlay arrives in California & meets his uncle Jason & his two cousins Travis & Nate whom he'll be living with later on he see tyray a freshman Darell ask him does he know where bluford high school he actually says buford & tyray says does he have a speech problem he makes fun of him because of his height saying he might be a six grader trying to pretend he goes to high school tyray then asks him does he have money Tyray and he was the school bully. He pushed Darrell around and took his money everyday, embarrassed him and made him cry Darrell got sick of it and had to do something about it. Darrell worked out everyday and ate lot. He even joined the wrestling team. One day he just had it with Tyray and when Tyray ticked Darrell off he exploded & made tyray break his wrist he was really happy that he beat him evey body in the hallway cheers because of darrell using self defense on which he learned in the wrestling sport he joined that is the end of the book there is another sequel to this it is called The Gun it is mostly about tyray trying to get revenge on darrell for embarrassing him at school & losing his reputation as most feared bully in bluford.

I would recomend this book to pepole whom like to read the bluford series because i really enjoyed reading them i think they're very addicting because the're sequels to some of them & you get really eager to know what happens later on with the protagonist & antagonist characters in the series
